Nebivolol 5 mg + S-Amlodipine 2.5 mg is a combination medication used for the effective management of hypertension (high blood pressure). It combines Nebivolol, a selective beta-1 blocker with vasodilatory properties, and S-Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker.

Nebivolol works by slowing the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels through nitric oxide release, helping reduce blood pressure and cardiac workload. S-Amlodipine (the active enantiomer of amlodipine) relaxes vascular smooth muscles, improving blood flow and lowering peripheral resistance.

This dual mechanism provides better blood pressure control than monotherapy, reduces cardiovascular risk, and improves patient compliance with once-daily dosing.
