NADILIFE CREAM
Description
Nadifloxacin IP 1.0% w/w is a topical fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulation used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections, especially acne vulgaris. Nadifloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing bacterial replication and growth.
It is highly effective against Propionibacterium acnes (now known as Cutibacterium acnes), Staphylococcus epidermidis, and other gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria involved in inflammatory acne lesions.
Nadifloxacin IP 1.0% w/w is commonly prescribed for:
Mild to moderate acne vulgaris
Inflammatory papules and pustules
Bacterial skin infections
Folliculitis
The topical formulation ensures targeted action at the infection site with minimal systemic absorption, reducing the risk of systemic side effects.
