Clopidogrel Bisulphate 75 mg + Aspirin 75 mg is a dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) formulation used for the prevention of blood clot formation in patients at risk of cardiovascular events. This fixed-dose combination contains Clopidogrel 75 mg and Aspirin 75 mg, both of which work synergistically to reduce platelet aggregation and prevent thrombus formation. Clopidogrel inhibits ADP-mediated platelet activation by selectively blocking the P2Y12 receptor, while Aspirin irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), thereby reducing thromboxane A2 production. Together, they significantly reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other atherothrombotic complications. This combination is widely prescribed in patients with: Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) with stent placement History of myocardial infarction Ischemic stroke Peripheral arterial disease It provides long-term cardiovascular protection when taken under medical supervision.
