Cilnidipine 10 mg + Telmisartan 40 mg is a combination antihypertensive medication used for the effective management of high blood pressure (hypertension). This dual-action formula combines a calcium channel blocker (Cilnidipine) with an angiotensin II receptor blocker (Telmisartan) to provide superior blood pressure control and cardiovascular protection.

Cilnidipine is a fourth-generation calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing peripheral vascular resistance. It uniquely blocks both L-type and N-type calcium channels, helping reduce sympathetic nerve activity.

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that prevents blood vessel constriction by blocking angiotensin II receptors, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing strain on the heart.
